Errol McGlashan is a poet, writer and performer. In his one man show 'Something To Take Off The Edge', McGlashan brings together his electric sensibility for words, wit and storytelling. Inspired by true events and boundless in his delivery, 'Something To Take Off The Edge' is McGlashan’s captivating story of prison, drugs, friendship and Shakespeare.

Errol McGlashan's has presented work at the Royal Court and widely across London's spoken word scene as well as appearing in conversation with writer Lemn Sissay in print and on the BBC on behalf of Cardboard Citizens. He is a force of nature and has collaborated in ensemble with artist Andrea Luka Zimmerman and theatre-maker Adrian Jackson for the film & play Here for Life (2019) commissioned and produced by Artangel.
